Takara The Premix WST-1 enables cell proliferation and cell viability to be measured with a colorimetric assay, based on cleavage of tetrazolium salts by mitochondrial dehydrogenase in viable cells. This product takes the place of RI-labeled nucleoside, and provides a non-RI method for the analysis of cell proliferation or cell viability.
