POLICY BRIEF & PURPOSE

As the global impact of procurement decisions becomes increasingly evident, organizations must embed sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Neta Scientific, Inc. is committed to advancing sustainable sourcing and responsible procurement practices. We aim to support environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic viability — the three pillars of sustainability — across our business and supplier relationships.

Our long-term goal is to drive positive impact through procurement by:

● Sourcing and distributing sustainable products from environmentally and socially responsible suppliers.

● Promoting awareness of sustainability practices within our supply chain.

● Engaging partners in collaborative sustainability initiatives.

Through our NetaSelect Sustainability Program, we identify products at the SKU level that meet specific sustainability criteria, showcase supplier innovations, and align with our mutual customers’ sustainability goals.

We also support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and recognize their relevance in shaping a sustainable future. These 17 goals serve as a framework for action to address climate change, inequality, resource use, and human rights.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all Neta Scientific, Inc. employees, leadership, and decision-makers involved in procurement, sourcing, and product distribution. It also extends to our suppliers, their supply chain network, and vendors engaged in our operations.

 

NETASELECT SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM CRITERIA

Neta Scientific, Inc. encourages and promotes the procurement of products and services that contribute to sustainability goals through one or more of the following attributes:

● Biodegradable – Products that naturally break down in the environment.

● Bulk Packaging – Reduces waste and improves resource efficiency.

● Energy Efficient – Minimizes energy consumption in use or production.

● Recycle Program – Includes take-back or closed-loop recycling options.

● Reduced Packaging – Minimizes packaging volume, materials, or waste.

● Reusable or Recyclable – Designed for multiple uses or can be processed into new materials.

● Sustainable Manufacturing – Produced with methods that minimize environmental impact, such as reduced water usage, renewable energy, or low emissions.

● Sustainability Goals/Targets – Suppliers have set and disclosed measurable sustainability objectives aligned with environmental or social responsibility.

● Trade-In Program – Products part of a return or trade-in program to extend product life or reduce waste.

● Other Initiatives – Innovative or supplier-specific sustainability programs not captured above, but that demonstrate commitment to responsible sourcing.

Supplier Partnership & Engagement

Neta Scientific, Inc. actively works with suppliers to:

● Understand and highlight their sustainability priorities and innovations.

● Identify products and services that meet defined sustainable criteria. Increase transparency in environmental and social performance.

● Participate in initiatives that reduce the footprint of scientific research and laboratory operations.

Governance, Review, and Documentation

Neta Scientific, Inc.’s executive management reviews and approves this policy annually, which applies to our U.S. operations. Continuous improvement is essential, and we remain committed to refining our policies in accordance with evolving standards.
