Takara pAmCyan is a prokaryotic expression vector, which encodes Anemonia majano cyan fluorescent protein (AmCyan). The AmCyan coding sequence carried in pAmCyan retains the wild-type codon usage. In this vector, the mCyan gene is flanked by separate and distinct MCS regions at the 5 and 3 ends so that the AmCyan gene can be subcloned into other expression vectors.
