O-Rings for Spray Chambers

A number of O-rings are used throughout the current Agilent Mark 7 flame atomization system, and the earlier Agilent Mark VI flame atomization system, including on nebulizer components, the spray chamber and the burner. Regular inspection of the O-rings is recommended, especially when completing routine maintenance on the flame atomization system. O-rings should be replaced if they are perished, show excessive wear or have any nicks or cuts on the surface.;The regular black O-rings are suitable for use with aqueous solutions, including acid digests. For compatibility with organic solvents, perfluoroelastomer (white) O-rings should be fitted. The perfluoroelastomer O-rings are suitable for use with both aqueous and organic solutions.
