(3S,5S)-Atorvastatin is an enantiomer of atorvastatin that has little or no inhibitory activity against HMG-CoA reductase. It also differs from other atorvastatin enantiomers in cytotoxicity, activation of the pregnane X receptor, and induction of cytochrome P450 isoforms.,
