Grosvenorine is a flavonol glycoside that has been found in S. grosvenorii and has antibacterial and antioxidant activities.1 It is active against methicillin-sensitive and -resistant S. aureus, as well as Enterococcus, in disc diffusion assays when used at a concentration of 250 µg/mL. Grosvenorine scavenges ABTS (Item No. 27317) and DPPH (Item No. 14805) radicals in cell-free assays in a concentration-dependent manner.
