Product Description
The COX-2 (human) Inhibitor Screening Assay directly measures PGF2α by stannous chloride (SnCl2) reduction of COX-derived PGH2 produced in the COX reaction. The prostanoid product is quantified via ELISA using an antiserum specific to PGF2α.
This assay includes recombinant human COX-2 and is an excellent tool for a general COX-2 inhibitor screening. It will also help to eliminate false positive leads generated by less specific methods.
Needed but not supplied:Please to verify if (Milli-Q or equivalent) or any other components are needed for this assay.
