Spermidine is a naturally occurring polyamine. It is associated with various cellular functions. It is responsible for the condensation and aggregation of DNA in aqueous solution.[1][2] Spermidine is known to extend lifespan via epigenetic modifications, induction of cell death and inhibition of necrosis.[3]
