General Description

Singlepath^® Campylobacteris a rapid diagnostic test, designed to detectCampylobacterbacteria in various food samples.Campylobacteris a genus of bacteria that can cause human infections, leading to symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps.The Singlepath^® Campylobacteris an immunochromatographic rapid test based on gold-labeled antibodies to detect the presence of a specific antigen, in this case, theCampylobacterbacteria. The test includes a nitrocellulose membrane strip that is coated with antibodies specific toCampylobacterantigens. When the sample is applied to the test strip, anyCampylobacterantigens present will bind to the antibodies on the strip, developing a visible test line. The test takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and the results are interpreted based on the presence or absence of the test line. No additional equipment expenditure is needed.

Application

Singlepath^® Campylobactertest is used to detectCampylobactercontaminations and growth in food samples. This product can also be used for pathogen testing in industrial microbiology. The test has been validated and approved by AOAC-PTM.
