This control lysate is intended for use with the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human Total PI3 Kinase p85 Detection Kit or for use as a control for those running orthogonal or secondary assays along with the SureFire assay. To prepare the lysate, HEK293 cells were cultured to confluence in T175 flasks in 10% FBS containing medium. Cells were starved for 2 hours in serum free media, stimulated with 20 μg/mL Insulin for 5 minutes and then lysed with 4 mL of Lysis Buffer.
