Revvity Before any samples are counted, you must calibrate the instrument’s detectors. You define the calibration assay and run the procedure using a special calibration plate. Each instrument comes with a special calibration plate that contains information specific to the instrument. To avoid erroneous sample results during calibration, you must use the calibration plate assigned to the instrument.
