Revvity Angiopoietin-like 3, also known as ANGPTL3, is a glycoprotein that is structurally related to other members of the angiopoietin family. It is expressed predominantly in the liver, and contains a signal peptide, an N-terminal coiled-coil domain, and a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain. Angiopoietin-like 3 is a determinant factor of HDL levels and positively correlates with plasma HDL cholesterol. It may also play a role in the regulation of angiogenesis. Revvity AlphaLISA technology allows the detection of molecules of interest in a no-wash, highly sensitive, quantitative assay. In an AlphaLISA assay, a biotinylated anti-analyte antibody binds to the Streptavidin-coated Donor beads while another anti-analyte antibody is conjugated to AlphaLISA Acceptor beads. In the presence of the analyte, the beads come into close proximity.
