These microplates are made of cyclic olefin, a polymer with glass-like optical properties, providing excellent image quality as well as cell attachment. Their ultralow plate bottom enables whole plate well access when using water immersion and high NA objectives, and a new design with low-profile polystyrene lid for reduced evaporation.
