Revvity AlphaLISA technology allows the detection of molecules of interest in buffer, cell culture media, serum and plasma in a highly sensitive, quantitative, reproducible and user-friendly mode. In an AlphaLISA assay, a Biotinylated Anti-Analyte Antibody binds to the Streptavidin-coated Alpha Donor beads, while another Anti-Analyte Antibody is conjugated to AlphaLISA Acceptor beads. In the presence of the analyte, the beads come into close proximity. Revvity Interferon Gamma Induced Protein 10 (IP-10), also known as CXCL10, is a cytokine secreted in response to Interferon-γ. Cell types that secrete IP-10 include monocytes, endothelial cells and fibroblasts. IP-10 has several functions, including chemoattraction for monocytes/macrophages, T cells, NK cells, and dendritic cells, promotion of T cell adhesion to endothelial cells, and antitumor activity. IP-10 has been linked to multiple diseases including HIV, HPV and TB.
