Revvity Interleukin 15 (IL15) is a cytokine produced as a precursor maturing into a 114 amino acid glycoprotein. The placenta, skeletal muscle, kidney, lung, heart, and monocytes/macrophages are among the tissues that produce IL15. It is generally recognized that IL15 is a crucial cytokine for the growth, survival, and proliferation of natural killer cells. It primarily affects T and B cells. Revvity AlphaLISA technology allows the detection of molecules of interest in a no-wash, highly sensitive, quantitative assay. In an AlphaLISA assay, a biotinylated anti-analyte antibody binds to the Streptavidin-coated Donor beads while another anti-analyte antibody is conjugated to AlphaLISA Acceptor beads. In the presence of the analyte, the beads come into close proximity.
