MM253 is a human melanoma derived from a metastatic site (lymph node). Cell Bank Australia reference number CBA-1347

RPMI 1640 (R0883) (with 2 mM L-L-Glutamine (G7513) + 25 mM HEPES (H0887) + 10% FBS / FCS (F2442).

Optimal split ratio 1:4 - 1:8 (seeding density 0.8 x 10⁴ cells/cm²). Cells incubated at 37 °C with 5% CO₂. Harvest the cells using 0.05% Trypsin/EDTA at 37 °C for 5 min.
