Application
OAW42 has been used to investigate the cytotoxic potential of histone deacetylase 1 as a target for ovarian cancer immunotherapy and to study the effects of tazemetostat, a potent and selective EZH2 inhibitor, on OAW42 cell lines.[1][2]

Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 1mM Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) + 20 IU/l Bovine Insulin + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin; 5% CO2; 37°C.
