Cell Line Description
The antibody recognises glycoprotein 2BII. Binding is lost after acid hydrolysis or de-glycosylation of 2BII. The antibody also cross-reacts with cell wall of Lobomonas piriformis. AFRC MAC 20 shows similar fine specificity and properties to AFRC MAC 18 and 19.

DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 3-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. These cells require mouse macrophage feeder layers upon resuscitation
