Cell Line Description
HL60 15-12 is a variant of HL60 which is capable of differentiating towards either neutrophils or monocytes with treatment of appropriate agents.
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + 1.25% Dimethyl Sulphoxide (DMSO).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 2x100,000 to 1,000,000 cells/ml. NB: The cells will differentiate if the culture medium is allowed to become acidic. 5% CO2; 37°C. Freeze in 10% glycerol and 90% FBS.
