Cell Line Description
Non-transformed clone from a RIII mouse. Supernatant fluid is negative for RT activity. Useful for visualisation of sarcoma virus-induced foci, in vitro quantitative assay for bovine papilloma virus. Suitable host for transformation with bovine papilloma virus DNA plasmids.

Subculture Routine
Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:5 to 1:15 i.e. seeding at 1-2x10,000 cells/cm2 using 0.25% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37°C.
