Recombinant RNase Inhibitor, HQ (high quality) contains a mutation in a cysteine residue that is very sensitive to oxidation, making it highly stable in enzymatic reactions requiring low DTT concentrations. It inhibits RNase A activity through the formation of a 1:1 complex in a reversible reaction. It is not effective against RNase H activity.
Recombinant RNase Inhibitor, HQ has equivalent enzyme performance as Recombinant RNase Inhibitor ver.2.0 but has been produced with stricter quality standards and is supplied in a higher volume. It is intended for use in the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for non-clinical trials, as well as for the process development of drug manufacturing under good manufacturing practice (GMP) regulations.
