Thermo Scientific Nalgene 250 mL PTFE FEP Centrifuge Bottle

Thermo Scientific Nalgene Ideal bottle for low-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals. Excellent for large-volume lipid and phenol extractions, digestions and preciptations. Resists most acids, bases, and organic solvents. Autoclavable bottle rated for temperatures from -100° to 150°c. Use Nalgene sealing cap assembly (cat. No. 967-20473) To run this bottle at maximum recommended speed (4000 x g). When spinning 250 mL bottle in a sorvall gsa rotor, use of the Nalgene ™ centrifuge bottle adapter is required (available separately, cat. No. 967-20458). Before autoclaving, just set closure on top of the bottle without engaging the threads. Note: FEP centrifuge bottle must be filled to 100% of the total capacity.
