Thermo Scientific Nalgene ™ Nalgene™ ppco centrifuge bottles are for low to moderate speed large volume centrifugation of biological and chemical samples. Bottles include a polypropylene sealing cap assembly for added leakproof assurance at maximum speeds when spinning hazardous materials. Molded of rigid and robust polycarbonate copolymer, these translucent bottles are designed for pelleting applications such as cell culture harvesting and protein biochemistry, including ammonium sulfate precipitations. Additionally, these ppco bottles are autoclavable and offer excellent mechanical strength. For proper performance bottles must be filled to 80% of total capacity. When spinning 250 mL bottle in a sorvall gsa rotor, use of the Nalgene ™ centrifuge bottle adapter is required (available separately, cat. No. 967-20458).
