Thermo Scientific Nalgene Maintain an airtight seal on the Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene ™ transparent polycarbonate classic design desiccator without the need of vacuum grease which can act as a possible lab contaminant. Lightweight and nearly unbreakable, the desiccator can be used under full-vacuum and non-vacuum conditions, and is an excellent alternative to glass. Removable stopcock can be replaced if needed or removed and the port capped (cap included) if not used. Will not shatter or implode at full vacuum when used according to instructions included with product.

• holds a vacuum of 28 in. Hg (71.1 cm) for 24 hours

• maximum clearance above plate: 7.7 in.
• takes standard 230 mm desiccator plate such as Nalgene ™ ceramic metal desiccator plate (cat. No. 967-15841)
• accepts 1/4 to 3/8 in. I.d. (0.6 To 1 cm) vacuum tubing (sold separately)
• do not autoclave or expose polycarbonate to organic solvents or their vapors
