Thermo Scientific Nalgene View contents of these contact-clear, Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene ™ oak ridge high-speed ppco centrifuge tubes easily. The translucent polypropylene copolymer tubes also feature excellent mechanical strength. Ppco (polypropylene copolymer) has greater chemical resistance than polycarbonate and can be autoclaved repeatedly. These tubes come with polypropylene linerless closures-easy to clean and provides leak proof protection under normal conditions up to 10, 000 x g. Can be used up to 50, 000 x g in refrigerated or non-refrigerated centrifuges. Cat. No. 977-12709 Can be used up to 100, 605 x g if equipped with a sealing cap, available separately†. Actual brim capacity of cat. No. 977-12709 Is 42 mL. Must be filled to 80% of total capacity when centrifuging.
