Thermo Scientific Nalgene Process large-volume cell harvesting, pelleting and protein purification with Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene ™ polycarbonate centrifuge bottles, the perfect fit with Thermo Scientific™ fiberlite™ carbon fiber rotors. Molded of transparent polycarbonate, these translucent bottles are autoclavable and have excellent mechanical strength properties. These bottles are ideal for low speed centrifugation of biological and chemical samples. For added leakproof assurance at maximum speeds or when spinning hazardous materials, use with polypropylene sealing caps assemblies available for select sizes (250 mL: cat. No. 967-20473; 1000 mL: cat. No. 967-20485). For proper performance, bottles must be filled to at least 80% of total capacity. Cat. No. 967-12742 Designed for use with iec rotors. When spinning 250 mL bottle in a sorvall gsa rotor, use of the Nalgene ™ centrifuge bottle adapter is required (available separately, cat. No. 967-20458).
