SyntIV Recombinant human soluble CD4 protein with glycosylation patterns found in human cells (40 micrograms)

SyntIV Human CD4 is expressed on the surface of CD4+ T cells, and at very low levels, on human Macrophages. The CD4 protein interacts with MHC Class II presenting a specific peptide as part of the immune response and serves as the receptor for HIV-1 entry into the target cells. SyntIV human soluble CD4 contains contains 363 amino acids that include the 4 extracellular domains of the full-length CD4 protein. The sCD4 has a calculated molecular weight of 40,403 Da, and on SDS-PAGE Gel under reducing conditions it migrates with an apparent molecular mass of approximately 45-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
