Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 6 (STAT6) is a key component of the JAK/STAT pathway, primarily activated by interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13). Upon activation, STAT6 dimerizes and translocates to the nucleus, regulating genes involved in T helper 2 (Th2) immune responses, allergic inflammation, and cell survival.
