Product Description

The LipidLaunch™ Ionizable Lipid LNP Lung Screening Set includes 9 ionizable cationic and cationic lipids to screen for use in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations. The lipids are formulated at 10 mg/mL in ethanol for ease of addition to lipid mixtures for LNP formulation. This screening set includes lipids reported to show delivery to the lung when used in nucleic acid cargo LNPs. LNPs containing these lipids in combination with a sterol lipid, a phospholipid, and a PEGylated lipid have been used to encapsulate mRNA, plasmid DNA, siRNA, and other nucleic acid cargo for intracellular delivery. This screening set can be used in conjunction with LipidLaunch™ Helper Lipid Set (Item No. 42831) to encapsulate mRNA, plasmid DNA, siRNA, and other nucleic acid cargo for intracellular delivery.
