IκBα (20-39) is a peptide fragment of the N-terminal signal-receiving domain of IκBα (Item No. 43691), which is an inhibitor of NF-κB and a member of the IκB family of proteins.1,2 It contains several post-translational modification sites that regulate IκBα activity, including the phosphorylation sites Ser32 and Ser36, the ubiquitination sites Lys21 and Lys22, and the SUMOylation sites Lys21 and Lys38.2
