Application
Penoxsulam is a post-emergence herbicide used on rice crops for the control of broad-leaved weeds, aquatic weeds and certain grasses. As per the regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 it is approved for use as plant protection product in the European Union. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) have been set according Reg. (EU) No 2018/1516 for various products of plant and animal origin from 0.01 - 0.05 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
