General description
The innovative ReadyStream® workflow enables convenient production of up to 50 L of pre-heated, Half FRASER broth in less than 20 minutes. ReadyStream® Half FRASER contains our GranuCult® prime media and is delivered as a dry media bag that has been irradiated at >33 kGy. ReadyStream® Half FRASER Broth (complete) contains all ingredients required as per ISO 11290 formulation, including Ammonium iron(III) citrate, eliminating the need for separate supplementation. When installed in the ReadyStream® system (RDYSTRM01), the media is initially reconstituted with sterile filtered water to create a 5x concentration of the Half FRASER media. Subsequently, the ReadyStream® system dispenses and dilutes the media to achieve a 1x concentration. This allows easy preparation of a 5-fold volume of the media stock, i.e., 50 L. Once reconstituted, the bag can be used for 10 days
Application
ReadyStream® Half FRASER Broth is used with the ReadyStream® instrument and ReadyStream® filter for the primary selective enrichment of Listeria monocytogenes and Listeria spp. from products intended for human consumption and for the feeding of animals, and environmental samples in the area of food production and food handling.
