Sal-Like Protein 4 (SALL4) is a zinc finger transcription factor that plays crucial roles in embryonic development, stem cell maintenance, and cellular reprogramming. SALL4 regulates pluripotency networks by interacting with core transcription factors including OCT4, SOX2, and NANOG, while also modulating chromatin structure through recruitment of epigenetic regulators. It is essential for early embryogenesis and hematopoietic stem cell function.
