ATG14, or autophagy related protein 14, also known as BAKOR, or Beclin 1-associated autophagy-related key regulator, is an important component of the autophagosome nucleation process in macroautophagy. Dysfunctions in autophagic mechanisms are associated with cancer and neurodegenerative disease. ATG14 is implicated in Alzheimer’s disease, and a variety of cancers such as colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and chronic myeloid leukemia.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human and Mouse Phospho-ATG14 (Ser29) Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-ATG14 (Ser29) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
