Revvity AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human Total CDK7 Detection Kit, 100 Assay Points
Cyclin-dependent kinase 7 (CDK7), or cell division protein kinase 7, is encoded by the CDK7 gene which is a member of the CDK family. CDK7 has dual functions, as a CDKâactivating kinase (CAK) that regulates cell cycle progression by phosphorylation of CDK1, CDK2, and CDK4/6, and as a component of transcription factor II H (TFIIH) that regulates transcriptional initiation through phosphorylation of RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain. Inhibition of CDK7 offers an opportunity for restoring controlled cell cycle through regulating multiple cell cycle checkpoints, making it a cancer therapy target.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Total CDK7 Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total CDK7 in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
