Activating transcription factor 2 (ATF2) is a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA-binding proteins. ATF2 is triggered when JNK/SAPK phosphorylates threonine residues. This protein plays a role in insulin secretion, thyroid hormone release, substance abuse, viral infections, and PI3K/AKT, TNF, and estrogen signaling.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human and Mouse Total ATF-2 Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total ATF-2 in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.

• The HV (high volume) kit contains reagents to run 100 wells in 96-well format, using a 60 μL reaction volume.
