Revvity AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human Total PINK1 Detection Kit, 50,000 Assay Points

PTEN-induced kinase 1 (PINK1) is a mitochondrial serine/threonine-protein kinase, closely involved in mitochondrial quality control by identifying damaged mitochondria and targeting specific mitochondria for degradation. In damaged depolarized mitochondria, PINK1 accumulates on the mitochondrial outer membrane. Upon activation, PINK1 activates Parkin which will ubiquitinate many targets at the Mitochondrial Outer Membrane (MOM). One of these targets is TOM20. Dysregulated PINK1 is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, ALS, liver disorders, and kidney disorders.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Human Total PINK1 Detection Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of total PINK1 in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.

• The HV (high volume) kit contains reagents to run 100 wells in 96-well format, using a 60 μL reaction volume.
