Revvity AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human & Mouse Phospho-ß-Catenin (Thr41/Ser45)

Catenin beta-1 (β-catenin) is a protein that is coded by the CTNNB1 gene. The Wnt/β-Catenin signaling pathway is crucial to regulating cell proliferation and polarity, cell determination, and tissue homeostasis. In the absence of extracellular WNT ligands, cytosolic β-Catenin is phosphorylated, thereby targeting the protein for ubiquitination, degradation, and inactivation. β-Catenin is implicated in various cancers and neurological diseases, such as salivary gland tumors, oral squamous cell carcinomas, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.

The AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Human and Mouse Phospho-ß-Catenin (Thr41/Ser45) assay is a sandwich immunoassay for the quantitative detection of phospho-ß-catenin (Thr41/Ser45) in cellular lysates, using Alpha Technology.
