This Activation Buffer B is already provided in some AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra kits, used for the detection of phospho and total proteins in cell lysates. It is being offered as a standalone item, in case of need of replacement or for additional volume. It is intended to be used solely in conjunction with AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra assays containing the AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Activation Buffer B. The AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Activation Buffer B optimizes the recognition of the target by the antibodies present in the kit.
The AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra Activation buffer B has a different formulation from both the AlphaLISA SureFire Activation Buffer and AlphaScreen SureFire Activation Buffer, and should not be used with other kits.
