Electron Microscopy Sciences Saponin/glyoxylate fixative is for use in immunohistological and immunological protocols. It contains no formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde giving it reduced toxicity and virtually no odor. Neutral, buffered, and isotonic (308 mosmol). Additionally, mirskys fixative does not contain toxic or hazardous buffers such as cacodylate or barbital. Double reactive sites afford excellent cross-linking properties while maintaining sample enzyme activity. Samples processed in mirskys fixative for light microscopy can subsequently be used in electron microscopy procedures. - EMS (Additional S&H or Hazmat Fees May Apply)
