Electron Microscopy Sciences Hard Plus Resin-812 Kit

Electron Microscopy Sciences Hard-plus resin-812 is a newly formulated resin that enables the processing of specimens that have a tendency to wrinkle and be problematic. Wpe numbers do not vary much from batch to batch, there is good stability under the electron beam, and it stains well with heavy metals. Viscosity is lower than original epon-812, making infiltration of tissue more complete. For processing and embedding, it can be used same way as epon-812, but it is not necessary to use intermediate solvents and infiltration can immediately follow with absolute alcohol. Polymerization normally at 60 degree c for 24–48 hrs. Longer times or higher temps (+70 degree c) will give harder block. For larger samples (>1x1 mm3) use of intermediate solvent recommended.
