Electron Microscopy Sciences Our new UV pipette carousel is the only pipette rack that destroys up to 99% of unwanted contamination, while organizing and protecting your pipettes. Using a germicidal uv-c mercury vapor lamp, a high-efficiency reflector/concentrator completely bathes the pipette shafts in 254nm UV light. This exposure prevents cross-contamination in pcr and other sensitive procedures, while destroying unwanted microbiological contaminants. Just place any range or brand of single-channel pipettes in the nuvaclean and press "start". The auto-decon cycle will begin. After completion (approx 28 minutes), the unit will automatically power down and deliver 6 safe, clean, ready-for-use pipettes. - EMS
