Electron Microscopy Sciences Our slides are made from the highest quality clear-white glass sheets and have dimensions that have been standardized to millimeters according to the u.s. Government specifications. The glass is fully annealed to minimize chipping. Slides are precleaned and are individually inspected and free from moisture, dirt, and film. All of our slides are flat, uniform and durable. The superfrosted end slides have one side which is frosted with a brilliant white opaque coating that will take and retain all pen markings.
