Electron Microscopy Sciences The bk series upright compound microscope with kohler illumination and optional fluorescence module is designed for a demanding research environment. It incorporates advanced technology into a durable, cost effective microscope. The optical body has a seidentopf design inclined 30 degrees and with 55-75 mm interpupillary distance. Eye pieces are wf 10x high eyepoint to 21 mm with field number 22 mm. The turret has 4 position ball bearing reversed for unrestricted access. The mechanical stage has 360 degree rotation, a 5.3"/13.5 cm diameter and specimen holder. Focusing knobs have 0.001 mm markings, adjustable tension control and focus stop that prohibits drift, and protects specimens and objectives. The condenser has a 1.25 n.a. 2 Element abbe with iris diapgragm, slot for phase slider, and color coding corresponds to objectives.
