Takara NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up Maxi, 20 Preps

The NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up Maxi kit enables cleanup of large amounts of RNA from crude preparations or enzymatic reactions using a simple maxi spin column-based procedure. The kit allows for processing of up to 35 mg of crude RNA, with typical recovery rates ranging from 85–95%. To prevent RNA degradation, samples are mixed with a concentrated solution of chaotropic ions and ethanol, resulting in immediate RNase inactivation. Following adsorption to the silica membrane, RNA is washed three times with two different wash buffers to remove impurities, and eluted under low ionic strength conditions with RNase-free water. With the NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up Maxi kit, 6 samples can be processed in 30 minutes.

Efficient RNA recovery from varying inputs.The NucleoSpin RNA Clean-up Maxi kit was used to process three different crude RNA eluates containing 6.8–35.4 mg of RNA. Following cleanup according to the standard protocol, 6.6–30.1 mg of RNA was recovered, corresponding to recovery rates of 85–96%.
