Rapid protein isolation using magnetic nanoparticles
Sera-Mag SpeedBeads Protein A/G Magnetic Particles provide a fast and convenient method for manual and automated magnetic isolation of affinity bound antibodies or antigens to Protein A/G. The magnetic beads are ideal for isolating antibodies from serum, cell culture supernatants, or ascites, and for immunoprecipitation and co-immunoprecipitation of antigens from cell or tissue extracts.
Simultaneous IgA and IgG protein isolation
Sera-Mag SpeedBeads Protein A/G Magnetic Particles take advantage of the affinity provided by both Protein A and Protein G, and offer a flexible alternative to either Protein A or Protein G alone. The Protein A/G magnetic beads can purify IgG from rabbit and mouse serum with higher yield and purity than Protein A and Protein G particles individually.
Get results twice as fast with Sera-Mag SpeedBeads
At the core of the Sera-Mag SpeedBeads particle is a free radical emulsion polymerization of styrene and acid monomer. Coated onto this core are two layers of magnetite, which leads to fast magnetic response times. The proprietary method used to modify the surface minimizes non-specific binding of proteins. Protein A/G is then covalently bound to the particle surface.
