Roche Diagnostics Corporation momap kit; the immunohistochemical staining of mouse monoclonal primary antibodies on mouse tissue has posed a challenge for investigators because of the anti-mouse secondary antibodys ability to react with endogenous mouse immunoglobulin found in the tissue. this results in high-background staining of endogenous immunoglobulin, which often obscures staining of the primary antibody. the discovery momap kit is designed to facilitate specific staining of mouse tissue with monoclonal primary antibodies by significantly decreasing background caused by endogenous immunoglobulin. the kit is compatible with frozen and formalin- or paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections of mouse tissue or xenograft specimens. the momap kit was designed to be used in conjunction with the discovery series of instruments and ventana medical systems, inc.
