General description

May be used for the preparation of phosphate buffered saline, and for the extraction and solubilization of proteins.

Potassium chloride has been used in the preparation of the following:

Amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) deposition solution, used for ACP coating on Ti coupons.[5]
Modified methylene blue (MB) solution, utilized in the MB two-phase titration method.[6]
4-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES)-containing artificial cerebrospinal fluid (ACSF) solutions.[7]
Artificial sea water.[8]
