The T-series solvent bottle caps help contain vapors and protect lab staff from exposure to toxic fumes. Push through 1/8" OD semi-rigid tubing for a liquid- and vapor-tight seal or use standard male Luer fittings to connect other tubing sizes. Luer port lets you also connect a syringe for liquid removal. Anti-twist cap design allows the PTFE body to spin freely within the outer cap. No more twisted tubes and no need to disconnect fluid lines before unscrewing the cap. Caps are rated for use from -10 to 20 psi when using 1/8" OD through tubes; -10 to 0 psi when using male Luer connectors. All caps are autoclavable.

Use activated carbon vapor trap with Luer connection to prevent any dangerous solvent from escaping into the laboratory. Connect 1/16" or 1/8" ID flexible tubing or 1/16” OD semi-rigid tubing to caps with Luer adapters. Plug any unused ports with a Luer plug to ensure a closed system. Bottle thread adapter converts bottles with S40 threads to accept any GL45 thread caps.

Design for 38-430 thread is different for glass and plastic bottles. Cap 21942-85 is designed to fit plastic bottles which are unsuitable for vacuum or pressurized applications.
