General Description

As the ends of the flexible fused-silica capillary tubing are intrinsically straight, column must be coiled and properly confined on a circular frame, also called a “cage”. The capillary column can then be safely mounted in the column oven of the gas chromatograph.This unique design with minimal metal-to-column contact reduces the possibility of damaging the protective coating on columns. Additionally, the design makes it easy to hang columns in most GC ovens.
